Smiths Interconnect|TRAK supplies waveguide couplers, combiners and splitters for a variety of space applications. These devices are designed to complement Smiths Interconnect|TRAK waveguide isolators and terminations.
Smiths Interconnect|TRAK offers a broad capability in the design and supply of waveguide hybrid and loop couplers. Smiths Interconnect|TRAK is expanding it's portfolio of couplers designed for a variety of space based applications. These have been supplied as stand-alone products and as assemblies that integrate isolators, transitions, etc.
Smiths Interconnect|TRAK’s general capability ranges from L to Ka-Band with coupler choice dependent on the application and the system considerations.
Smiths Interconnect|TRAK has supplied a large quantity of couplers over a relatively short period of time in WR34 and WR28. All of the space qualified couplers delimited to date are hybrid couplers and have been provided with or without a termination on one port or as part of more complicated passive assemblies.
Over the coming few months Smiths Interconnect|TRAK will expand its portfolio of space qualified hybrid couplers with the delivery in Spring 2016 of WR62 and WR75 broadband 2×1 and 2×2 designs.
